Motorhomes, Caravans & Destinations motorhome reviewer, Bill Savidan, discovers not much changes in three years – and that’s a good thing.
Reflecting on Carado’s promise of “offering value for money with practical family layouts built with thorough German workmanship”, Bill was keen to see if this year’s Carado T448 model stood the test of time.
The answer is a resounding yes. That isn’t to say there hasn’t been a healthy dose of new improvements though.
Bill comments that the exterior aesthetics have changed for the better, with a sleeker design and extra panache brought about by the decals and alloy wheels.
He’s pleased with the engine specs and all the safety features, and notes the fitted awning and newly designed LPG storage locker is well executed for all freedom camping needs.
Bill is particularly impressed with the dinette layout, which he deems an excellent piece of design, and discovers the new L-shaped kitchen bench adds a good deal of extra space and improves the area’s ease of use. Combine that with the top-notch fittings along with the clever bathroom layout and it’s easy to see why Bill’s verdict is one of praise for Carado sticking to their initial promises, while evolving features that add to a one-of-a-kind experience.
