The smell of German sausages and the taste of German beer greeted visitors to our Oktoberfest Open Day on Saturday 17 October. Our Auckland Sales Centre was bustling with people who came to view the most extensive range of European motorhomes in New Zealand. With 15 models on display including the new range of German made Carado motorhomes, visitors had the opportunity to see German design and innovation right here in Auckland.
Attendees took their time viewing the motorhomes and mingling with existing owners. The members of the Bürstner Owner’s Club onsite for the day were more than happy to answer any questions about what it is like to own a Bürstner. The Open Day was followed by a VIP Happy Hour we held exclusively for our Bürstner owners.
John Managh, Director of Wilderness, said “We were thrilled with the turnout at our second annual Oktoberfest. We were humbled by the distances people travelled to attend the event and really appreciated having our Bürstner owners share their experiences with the visitors. Everyone enjoyed the German food and homebrewed beer as well as the music from the umpah band. There was a little piece of Germany at Auckland’s Airport Oaks that day.”
Guests made the most of the special deals available only on the day, snatching up vehicles at not-to-be-missed prices and with plenty of extras included.
Being inside our workshop and seeing where it all happens was a novel experience for most. The event was an opportunity not just to showcase the best in European motorhomes but to give our visitors a taste of the service we have gained a reputation for.
For those who were unable to attend the event, Wilderness' sales centres are open Monday to Saturday in Auckland and Tuesday to Saturday in Christchurch.
